Hi All, My family and I will be travelling in Costa Brava only for four days. On the day we have to be at the Barcelona airport for a 11:40 am flight, are we better to spend the night before in a hotel close to the airport? Would Tossa de Mar be close enough to be at the Barcelona airport by 9 am? We would be driving a rent a car we would have to turn in at the airport. We normally fly into Madrid so I am not familiar with the Barcelona airport traffic. Thank you in advance for any opinions.

We have a car here in Spain which we have decided NOT to change to Spanish matriculation. We would like to sell it, either to someone who wants to drive it back to the UK or for scrapping.

Hello, My family is going to be in Costa Brava for only three nights the end of September. We are basically checking out the area to see if we would like to retire there. Where would you suggest we spend our time? Should we spend three nights in Begur and go out and back to visit other towns? Would it be better to not make hotel reservations until we see where we want to spend the night? We are thinking of going from the Barcelona airport to Roses and stop in the towns on the way. Is that possible with this time limit? We would like to see the country side also. We speak Spanish and have lived in Madrid and Mallorca for many years. I would appreciate your opinions.

I joined this forum in the hopes of finding my daughter’s old stuff toy dog (named “Wishbone”). Believed to have been left on top of a telescope outside of La Taverna de l’Iberico by Santa Maria church on July 16, 2019.

Hopefully, I can locate him. No real monetary value in this old toy, but priceless in sentimental value.

Is now a good time to think about leaving the UK to move my family to the sun? All this brexit nonsense will be going on for a lot longer than we all hoped. Just feels like we are missing out on other opportunities. Has anyone else been brave enough to leave the UK for a job as an IT administrator?  Im very interested how the move has affected your family as we have a 13 year old son to put first.
