We stayed at Don Quixote in 1982/3 i think and there was a bar called Washingtons opposite a large green apartment block that was occupied by German holiday makers that now appears derelict. Washingstons bar was on the road Carrer de Mexic.

My questions are what happened to this apartment block place on road Carrer de Montevideo  and also the owner of Washingtons was called Jose, he then moved to a bar called Bodega El Torro right behind Don Quixote as we visited a few years latter when we went to Tossa de Mar.

Anyone remember him?

I'm sure this has been asked before, so please forgive my ignorance. We're coming to stay in the area for 6 weeks with a view to exploring and possibly renting for a year or so some time later. I'd like to watch Match of the Day and my wife Coronation St but we don't know if it's possible for the 6 week period.

We were on vacation in Castell Mar camping with our dog. The operator of mobile homes came in our mobile home, when we were not in and when he opened the door, the dog was running out of the mobile home and out of the camping. We have been looking for him from Friday 26th of July from 18h00 but until today we did not find him. We immediately called the Police in Empuriabrava and Roses and Animal welfare organization, neighbors and others we met in this area,...
Dogs name is Bolt, the breed is a Boston Terrier, he is small like 35 cm and has 5 kg, dark brown in white colour, very scared. If you have any information please call us on the telephone number +41 79 824 76 22, local Police, veterinarian or the animal welfare organization.
