Looking for someone to do gardening and general maintenance  regularly at an hous in Begur. 

Can one buy WIFI in Begur for a week or a month?

I come to Begur 3 to 4 weeks per year, one week at a time, but having problems getting a WIFI  connection for a short period of time.

Issue:

I don't want to pay for a year's prescription for 4 weeks of usage.

am looking to move to the Begur area this year (fingers crossed) Are their any recommended ISPs that can provide me with a static block of * IP Addresses - or a /29 network ?  I am hoping the area has flood-wired fibre optic cable too as I may well be running a few web servers and will need fast internet access. We are a couple looking to move to Begur or close to there, and wanted to find out what its like meeting people, making friends, how friendly people are generally, and whether there are many international people i.e. French, English but also from all over the world? We are a little concerned as there are no big cities or towns near with meet up activities and things like this without driving quite far. We are coming from Barcelona.

English couple in mid 50’s looking to move and work in begur, anything considered.

My husband and I are hoping to move to the Begur region of the Costa Brava in the next couple of years. We are both keen tennis players and enjoy playing social tennis at our local club around 3 times a week. We have just returned from visiting the area around Begur where we looked at the tennis club in Llafranc and in Pals but both seemed to be popular with the French, we couldn't see any signs of British players. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

My wife and I will be spending three weeks in Begur this winter (November to December) to explore the town when it is quiet, and to get a feel for what it may be like to live there, in preparation for a potential long term move to Begur in the next 2-3 years. Ideally we would like to connect with other people who have made the jump to live in Begur long term. Does anybody have any ideas how I could find other European 'expats' , or does anybody fancy meeting up for drinks ? We are in our mid / late fourties, originally from Berlin and Paris but have been living in London for the last 25 years.
