Hi all

I'm new to this group so I hope my questions aren't too basic!  We are in the process of buying a holiday home in Begur (near to Sa Riera beach).  We plan to drive from the UK with our dog and spend a few weeks at a time in Spain.  I noticed the 3 Begur beaches have No Dogs signs - does this apply all year round?  We saw quite a few dogs on the beachs in February.

Do you think it's possible to walk dogs on the beaches early morning in busier periods?

If not, any tips for local areas for a well behaved labrador?

Thanks everyone.

Pam

Hi Pam

We live close to Sa Riera beach also. We have taken our dogs to the beach throughout the winter months but I’d not risk it from Easter onwards. The same applies to all beaches unless they are designated dog friendly. Our nearest is La Gola de Ter. We have tried walking the dogs at 06:00 and the police were lurking!

Ah ok, thanks Denise. Will have a look at doggie beach you mention.
