We have just brought a villa in Begur and we have some unwanted furniture, is there any second hand shops - charity shops that take used furniture nearby? 

Hello all!  My husband Jeremy and I are looking to move to Costa Brava in the next couple of years.  It was our perception that Begur would be a great location, not just because of gorgeous town and beaches, but access to English-speaking friends year-round (Jeremy speaks very limited Spanish). 

A good friend of ours believes that Tossa would have more of an English-speaking community, and therefore more access to year-round friends.  We welcome your comments as experts actually living in the area. Begur?  Tossa?  Other?

Vous aspirez à animer, accompagner et faire monter en compétence des négociateurs immobiliers. My wife and I are currently staying in Tossa over the holidays. We would like to come back next year over the Dec/Jan timeframe with our dog. It appears most hotels shut down during this timeframe. Can anyone recommend a place to stay or should we look to rent an apartment for this time period. Thanks in advance, David
