Good Morning from the UK
We have a house in Empuriabrava and normally receive regular bank statements from Santander, the Sant Mori branch. Does anyone know if the branch has closed? We normally spend June and September at our house but because of the virus have been unable to and would like to keep and eye on our finances! Any information would be gratefully received. LesleyG

We use Banco Sabadell and the electronic banking works very well. Can’t you call the Santander contact number and ask to be sent a statement - they should have English speakers on the phone

Thank you Amanda for your reply. I did try to phone the Empuriabrava branches but got no reply. I’ll do as you suggest and look for a Customer Services number and hope to find an English speaker. LesleyG

LesleyG: you might be able to call the Santander helpline rather than your local branch. I looked up the non-Spanish Mundo account and there is a telephone number quoted, see below. I’d have thought they’d answer the phone and if they can’t help then they should be able to put you in touch with someone. Worth a try?

I just opened an account there this week so yes its open. The bank manger speaks English here is the number 633 72 42 39
