Good morning all,

We are a retired couple mid 60s considering firstly renting in the area and wondered what it’s like living in Blanes all year round, is it a working town and not just a resort. We normally visit Portugal but my wife has gone off flying so we would drive there.

I’m coming over on my own first to have a look around is there a hotel you could recommend please

thank in advance

Hi we are also looking to move in Costa Brava alas Covid and Brexit have delayed us. We visited Blanes in October and even in the middle of this pandemic it still had a life. Its a lovely place with plenty to see and do. Alas we will not move there as the houses that we saw and could afford were all up on hills and I have some mobility issues. We will not go far though as Costa Brava is truly beautiful. We are now looking between St Féliu de Guixol and Begur. Best of luck and if we all get to live in Costa Brava maybe we will meet.
