Where to get tested

The tourist bureau in Lloret de Mar is sponsoring a testing center just across the street (on the corner) from the municipal running track that offers PCR test for 52 euros and antigen test for 30 Euros.  It's open from 8:30 to 10:30 everyday but be sure to stop by ahead of time as it seems they only do one type of test on any given day (as we found out after waiting in line for over an hour).  Sorry but I didn't think to jot down their address or phone number.

There is a lab in Malgrat de Mar that offers PCR tests for 120 euros each called Labosar, address Ponent,4. Malgrat de Mar, pH: 937 655 228.  They're only open until noon each day and guarantee to provide results within 24 hours.

Hi DaveA, we will be staying in Blanes from next week for a number of weeks and will need the Antigen tests prior to retuning to the UK.  How did you get on?  Did you manage to get tests in Blanes?

Yes, we were able to get the tests no problem and the towns are both very close to Blanes.  All of the details are in my previous post.  The one in Lloret de Mar is half the cost of the one in Malgrat de Mar.  Make sure to call the locations before going to be sure they're doing the test you need on the day you need it. We had to go to Malgrat de Mar at twice the cost because the other location wasn't doing the full PCR test we needed to get back to Canada.
