Hi we are presently living in the Caribbean and hope to retire to Roses or near by, in Jan 2023. In June we are making a visit to find a property. We will be in Spain for about 3 months. during our visit we would like to stay in or around Valencia for two to three weeks can anyone suggest a very nice town in or near Valencia where we should look to rent. We would like to be close to restaurants and amenities walking or a short drive. Any suggestion would be appreciated. We are from the U.K. so an area with a bit of an expat community might be an advantage.

I'm just buying a property in Roses and need to buy bedding so I can sleep there.

I don't know anything about Spanish stores but I am looking for a department store of the sort of quality of John Lewis in the UK.  Can anyone let me know where I should go to get my initial furnishings?

Hi all, please to meet you. I need to find 2 things to make my building more secure after all the squatting news. Can anyone recommend a firm that can install roller shutters over windows and doors? and also an alarm firm that is Police registered i.e. can call them directly?

Hi. I'm Andrea and I've been regularly visiting Roses since 1981. Although I know Roses reasonably well I have never hired a baby's cot before. Is anyone able to advise where in Roses I can go to for this?

We currently have a 36ft boat in the boatyard in Santa Margarita. As soon as we are able we would like come back out from UK to put her in the water. We are looking for a berth for long term rental. Thankyou.

We are moving to Roses at the end of September after 14 years in Dordogne. We moved out of our old farmhouse at the end of June and put all our furniture in storage and are currently renting in the south of France. Having just paid the deposit on a lovely modern villa near Roses, we have realised that our new home will not accommodate all our belongings, and a lot of what we have will look out of place in a modern house. Does anyone please have any suggestions of where we are best selling old furniture or whether there are local companies who might be interested.
