Does anyone know what is happening with the old Camping Can Marti campsite. I know it closed and ended as a business on 31st Aug 2023 however I was wondering if it will be taken over and possibly reopened.

Apparently it is sold to a large resort company, that wants to build a holiday parc with bungalows, campers etc.
Construction was supposed to start last month, but there seem to be some permit issues. Also, not everyone in the village is happy with yet another luxurious accommodation. Tossa is starting to get a bit too posh for many.
