Fridge, freezer, white goods

I'd recommend Jomar next to the inland Montserrat. Downstairs is a great supplier for DIY & hardware stuff. Upstairs they have a good selection of white goods and most of the staff speak good English. The dishwasher that came with our house didn't work & we got an ex-stock replacement from them. They delivered and installed the next day, as well as taking the old one away, all included in the price.

As for other household items, the various Chinese stores have a very wide choice of small items. For light-duty uses, their stuff is often good enough, but don't expect it to last. For longer-lasting or larger items, don't forget the French shops across the border. Perpignan is much closer than Barcelona, & has most things, though there's no IKEA there.We tend to go there quite a bit, but previously lived in France for many years, so understand French shopping quite well.

Thank for your advice. It is really helpful. We will certainly check out Jomar. Have you tried Nuel? On Carrer Roure on the C260. Only found it online.

We won’t be completing our house purchase until December but will keep in mind.
