What are the prices like in supermarkets in Empuriabrava?

We have only been here for a few months, but the Empuriabrava supermarket prices seem to be much the same as elsewhere. There's a Mercadona, Aldi & Lidl, as well as Montserrat, a more local outfit. Montserrat might be slightly pricier than elsewhere, but they also carry a much wider range of items. There's also a Carrefour Market on the road from Empuriabrava to Roses, as well as a larger Carrefour a few kms in the opposite direction, nearly into Figueres. There's plenty of competition, so it doesn't seem that you'll be ripped off. OTOH, you will probably need at least a bike to get to most of the supermarkets, depending on where you'll be staying.
