Welcome! I use a Sim card router it gives us unlimited data we can watch Netflix and Prime Video easily (50megs) it is expensive 50 euros a month but works great. I got it from a cell provider in Figueres Vodaphone La Rambla, 32, 17600 Figueres, Girona

Hope that helps Terence

We are at Begur /Aiguablava and only there for 2 to 3 months, so think the sim router option would be the cheapest and most flexible option for us. Do you use an external aerial/ receiver with the router or is the signal strong enough to stream TV?

Which telephone company’s sim do you use?

After you buy the router they will provide you with the sim card which you can cancel when you leave and activate again when you come back. No antenna needed just plug it in and it works great

Thanks for the advice Terence. I bought a TP router from Amazon before we went to Begur in June. We took out  our O2 sim with unlimited data that we have as part of our Virgin package in UK with us.

The router and Sim on Movistar network worked excellent, 3 bars on the router and we were able to connect mobiles, iPads and TV to the router and watch Prime & Netflix on smart TV. We could also watch BBC iplayer mirroring iPad onto TV. We will be sticking with the router and Sim rather than paying for WiFi for 8 months of the year we are not there. Keith
