Meeting New Friends

I am staying in Llanca for several months and would like suggestions for meeting new people and perhaps practicing speaking Spanish.

Thank you for reaching out. I looked on a map and L Escala appears to be a significant distance from Llanca, and I do not have a car. I have been hoping that the weather would get better and then I was wanting to go to Figueres, to see the Dali museum, and the large market on Thursdays. If you want to meet there, that could be fun, or we could meet for coffee here in Llanca, if you would be willing to come here.
