We are from USA looking to buy a retirement home in costa brava near Tossa de Mar and we do not speak Spanish or Catalan yet.
Can anyone recommend a english speaking solicitor to help with the transaction?

We purchased an apartment in Tossa about a year ago and I have recommendation for you. We used the aid of Cristian Balcells Group in Barcelona as our lawyer (www.balcellsgroup. com). They were excellent!! I could also recommend Cristina Freixa from the Sales and Rental Spain agency.
