Hello!
12 of us will be staying in Vilajuiga in August for a week.
We will not be hiring cars and from time to time may need taxis to take us to, for instance the beach in Llanca or the waterpark in Roses.
Does anyone know of a taxi company that is
A- local so as not to have to come from Figueres, adding to a higher fare
B- has minibuses/8seaters
C- can be booked adhoc and not days in advance.

Yes there is at least one minbus taxi in Llança - I'll be there next week and try to see the driver ar the station and get his number

Hi, Llança a bit quiet at this time of year so not much sign of taxis
Two possibilities
Website does give a number but perhaps online booking easier option unless you speak Catalán or Spanish or French - he may not speak English

The other taxi services are car and not people carrier based
There is a station at Vilajuiga and it's 1 stop to Llanca - there is a "beach bus" that runs around Llanca hourly morning and afternoon with a couple of hours off mid-day and includes the station and Grifeu beach in it's stops - your would need to sort out timetables and you must be wearing shirts and shorts to use the bus - no beach wear
