What are download and upload internet speeds in Empuriabrava (4G, ADSL, fibre optics)?

Moving to Empuriabrava shortly. As we work from home, I would like to know what are the options of the internet? Specifically, I am interested in the upload speed (as high as possible).

If you could share your experience of using different internet services and what was the speed for you, I would very much appreciate it.

I have heard that fibre isn't an option in Empuriabrava yet, so probably 4G? What's normally the upload speed, which providers?

Alina,

I'm using Movistar (Telefonica) 4G about 7 kms from Empuriabrava. It's ridiculously expensive compared with other European countries where I've lived, but moderately reliable. I get ~ 20 Mbps download but only 700Kbps upload. In Empuriabrava, I believe that there's a local supplier that many people use which requires the installation of a small external antenna. As they're local, they may well be able to offer a deal with symmetrical throughput & that may be your best bet.

We're in Pau and Telefonica are currently installing fibre in the streets here, so we're hoping for good things in the next months, but I can't speak for Empuriabrava.
