My wife and I are planning to stay in Begur (or nearby) for 2-3 months in 2026 (May -July). We will have our dog with us and we're wondering how dog friendly the nearby beaches are for that period? If beaches are not dog friendly are there any local forests, parks, trails etc to ensure we can give him a good daily run?
Don’t know about the beaches but I live in Merce Rodoreda, Begur and dog walker’s regularly park in the cul de sac here to access the forest trails.

We visit Begur regularly with our dog and dogs are not permitted on any beaches at any time on the year. However there are many lovely forest trails and a huge footpath network, you'll see the signs and finger posts at start of trails, all well signed. Begur is very dog friendly. There is a fantastic vets in Pals, called Anipals - for the obligatory tape worm etc.
