Moving to Costa Brava

Hello everyone,

My husband and I are thinking of moving to Besalu and I would very much appreciate any recommendations or opinions you may have on the

Besalu area. We speak fluent Spanish, lived in Spain for many years and in South America so we have no concerns about the language.

Hi,

I lived in Besalu for a couple of years. It's a beautiful town, very Catalan but tolerant of foreigners. Be aware that it's very quiet indeed in the winter months, especially in the evenings.

Thank you so much for responding. That is something to really think about for the winter months. That is why it's so important to hear from someone who has actually been there in the winter. I appreciate it and we will continue to explore the area.
